When you first arrive at Kings Fork Farm, you notice the winding curved entrance, the land, the trees and the open space. An iconic pavilion - the perfect venue for Kings Fork Farm's annual outdoor concerts, barbeques and other fun events - sits at the center of the neighborhood on the community green. Arbor and Courtyard homes surround the pavilion area, while the larger homes are set along the perimeter. Hanging planters and comfortable wicker chairs adorn front porches of each home. A couple sitting in their porch sip their morning coffee while reading the newspaper. Near the pavilion on the green, a father sits on an upside-down bucket, tossing baseballs to his young son. A family of four ride past on their bikes, headed to the pool for a refreshing swim. This is life at Kings Fork Farm.
As more and more people join the list of owners each month, Kings Fork Farm is slowly being transformed into the active, vibrant community it was envisioned to be. Over ninety owners now call Kings Fork Farm home and a community-wide spirit of participation, engagement and fun seems to have taken hold.
Last year, Kings Fork Farm was host to a three month Summer Concert Series featuring Warren Seaburg, The Ryan Hines Band and the Pete Hansen Duo. Owners and guests brought chairs and blankets to the public green and the site and sounds of flying Frisbees and children playing filled the air. In October the community once again participated in the National Night Out program and the pool and clubhouse stayed filled with pot luck dinners and a home-grown Irish Festival at St. Patrick's Day.
